Missed connections ofAzeroth
About

A notice board for a world that never really closed.

Somewhere between 2004 and 2012 you spent more evenings with a group of strangers than with most of your family. You knew their voices, their loot priorities, which one always died to Shade of Aran. Then a raid schedule changed, or a server transfer happened, or life did, and you never got their real name.

World of Warcraft: Forever opens on November 4, 2026. A lot of those people are going to log back in. This is where you find each other first.

It works like the missed-connections page in the back of a newspaper: you post the name you remember, the realm, the guild, the year. If they ever search for their own name, they find you. If they've already claimed it, they get an email the moment you post.

  1. 1. Search a character, guild or realm. We pre-loaded every US and EU realm since launch and hundreds of thousands of guild and character names from archived rankings, so there's a good chance the page already exists.
  2. 2. Post a whisper — looking for someone, claiming a name, or checking in to a guild. No account until you hit post, and then just an email.
  3. 3. Wave when you find them. Replies are public; waves are private. Contact details only unlock when you both wave.
